WASHINGTON – Empower Oversight President Tristan Leavitt will be a featured speaker at a symposium at the Heritage Foundation on Tuesday, April 9, at 10:45 a.m.
Leavitt will be speaking about the importance of whistleblowers to ensure the federal government is held accountable, why they need to be protected, and needed policy changes. He will also touch on the work and sacrifices of whistleblowers in a number of cases including the Hunter Biden investigation and the Fast and Furious case that he worked on in the office of U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley.
Also speaking at the Weaponization of the U.S. Government Symposium are Grassley and U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, and U.S. Representative Dan Bishop. Former congressman Jason Chaffetz is the emcee for the event.
