Requests input from researchers, journalists, and sources
WASHINGTON – Empower Oversight Whistleblowers & Research (EMPOWR) has compiled a timeline on the origins of COVID-19, and is asking researchers, journalists, and others to submit additional entries, edits, or corrections.
The working timeline can be found here and will be updated as new information is collected. EMPOWER also sent a FOIA request to NIH regarding requests by Chinese researchers to remove COVID-19 sequences from a U.S. database.
“As the Chinese government has not been forthcoming and the World Health Organization has proven unreliable, the origins of COVID-19 remain unknown,” said EMPOWR Founder and President Jason Foster. “We invite researchers, journalists, and sources to submit feedback, additions, or corrections to our working COVID-19 origins timeline. The goal of this project is to provide a resource for understanding what is known about the origins of the pandemic and to crowdsource information from both public sources and insiders with special knowledge. The world can only prevent the next deadly pandemic with a comprehensive and candid assessment of the facts at the heart of how this one began.”
